Introduction:

Cylindrical roller and raceway for line contact bearings. Large load capacity, mainly bearing radial load. According to whether the ring has a rim or not, it can be divided into NU, NJ, NUP, N, NF and other single-row cylindrical roller bearings, and NNU, NN and other double-row cylindrical roller bearings. The bearing is a detachable structure with inner ring and outer ring.
Cylindrical roller bearings with inner or outer rings without fenders, whose inner and outer rings can move relative to each other in axial direction, can be used as free-end bearings. Cylindrical roller bearings with double rim on one side of the inner and outer rings and a single rim on the other side of the ring can withstand a certain degree of axial load in one direction. Generally used steel plate stamping cage, or copper alloy car solid cage. But some use polyamide forming cages.

Characteristic:

Cylindrical roller bearing category:

Cylindrical roller bearing belongs to the separation bearing, which is very convenient to install and disassemble. Cylindrical roller bearings can bear large radial loads and are suitable for high-speed operation.
This kind of bearing allows the Angle error (inclination) of inner ring axis and outer ring axis to be very small, only 2 '~ 4'.
Therefore, the machining accuracy of the shaft and bearing seat is relatively high otherwise, it is easy to appear uneven load or stress concentration in the raceway contact part. However, the stress concentration can be reduced by modifying the roller or raceway contact bus.

The commonly used cylindrical roller bearings have the following forms:

Single row cylindrical roller bearings: Single row cylindrical roller bearings are separable bearings for easy installation and disassembly. Both rings can be fitted tightly. Modified contact lines between rollers and raceways can reduce stress concentration.
Double row cylindrical roller bearing: Double row cylindrical roller bearing is a kind of moving bearing, and its separability makes it easy to install and disassemble. Both rings can be fitted tightly. Double row cylindrical roller bearings are almost not allowed to have slant angles.
1. Single row bearings
N, NU type,N type bearing outer ring without retaining edge, both sides of the inner ring with retaining edge. Displacement in both axial directions between the shaft and the housing can be allowed. The bearing of NU type has flange on both sides of the outer ring and no flange on the inner ring. Displacement in both axial directions between the shaft and the housing can also be allowed. Therefore, this structure is suitable for use as a moving end bearing.
NJ, NF,NJ bearing outer ring on both sides of the retaining edge, the inner ring has a unilateral retaining edge. It can bear a certain amount of unidirectional axial load. The outer ring of NF type has a flange on one side, and the inner ring has a flange on both sides. It can also bear a certain amount of unidirectional axial load. Therefore, this kind of structure is suitable for use as a single direction axial positioning bearing.
NUP, NFP, AND NUP bearings have outer ring edges on both sides, one side of the inner ring has a (fixed) single ring, and the other side has a detachable flat ring. It can bear a certain amount of bidirectional axial load. The NFP bearing outer ring has a (fixed) single retaining edge on one side, and a detachable flat retaining ring on the other side, with retaining edges on both sides of the inner ring.
It can also bear a certain amount of bidirectional axial load. This kind of structural bearing can limit the displacement of the shaft relative to the bearing seat in two axial directions. Therefore, it is suitable for use as fixed end bearings.
NH (NJ+HJ) type,NH type bearing is a combination of NJ type bearing and HJ type oblique retaining ring structure. Because the inner ring of NUP type bearing is shorter, plus the flat retaining ring is not fixed, it is not convenient to use, while the NH type bearing can use the width of the whole inner ring of NJ type bearing to keep closer match with the shaft. Moreover, NH bearing is more convenient to install and disassemble. NH type bearings can limit the displacement of the shaft relative to the bearing seat in two axial directions. Therefore, it is suitable for use as fixed end bearings.
2. Double row bearings
Double row cylindrical roller bearings have cylindrical bore and conical bore (bearing post-code plus K) two structures. This kind of bearing has the advantages of compact structure, large rigidity, large bearing capacity and small deformation after load, especially suitable for machine tool spindle support.
Conical inner hole can also play a role of micro-adjustment of clearance, and can simplify the positioning device structure, convenient installation and disassembly.

Commonly used double row cylindrical roller bearings have the following forms:

NN, NNU type,NN type bearing has no flange on the outer ring, and a middle flange on both sides of the inner ring. Two directional axial displacements can be allowed between the shaft and the housing.
The outer ring of NNU bearing has a retaining edge on both sides and a middle retaining edge in the middle, and the inner ring has no retaining edge. Two directional axial displacements can be allowed between the shaft and the housing. Therefore, this structure is suitable for moving end bearings. The retainer of this type of bearing mostly adopts the vehicle solid retainer.
NNF type,NNF type bearing is double row full cylindrical roller bearing, bearing by a middle rim outer ring, two with double rim inner ring structure. The roller is guided by the rim of the inner ring, and the two inner rings are held together by fastening rings. In addition to bearing a large radial load and axial load, the structure can also bear overturning moment, so it is often used as fixed end bearings.
Contact seals are used on both sides of NNF bearings. The bearing is filled with grease, and the working temperature of the grease is from -50℃ to +110℃, but due to the limitation of the sealing material, the working temperature of the bearing is limited to -40℃ to +80℃. In the case of good working condition, there is no need to maintain the NNF bearing with seal. If the bearing is in the environment of water vapor or pollution for a long time, and when it is running at medium or high speed, supplementary lubrication can be carried out on the bearing through the lubricating oil groove and lubricating oil hole on the outer ring.
Four row bearings
Four-row cylindrical roller bearings are mainly used in rolling machines such as cold rolling mill, hot rolling mill, billet cutter, etc.
Bearing is of separate structure, bearing ring and rolling body components can be easily separated, therefore, bearing cleaning, inspection, installation and disassembly are very convenient.
FC type bearing is composed of two outer rings and an inner ring, each outer ring on both sides of the retaining edge in the middle of the retaining edge, the inner ring without retaining edge.
FCD type bearings are actually composed of two NN type bearings.

The commonly used methods to adjust the radial clearance of fully loaded cylindrical roller bearings are as follows:
1. For the backlash of cylindrical and oval bearing bush, it can be adjusted by manual scraping or by repairing and scraping after turning with cushion in the bearing surface.
2, for the top clearance of cylindrical and oval bearing bush can be manually scraped or if the situation permits, the method of adding pad in the bearing surface adjustment.
3, for multi oil wedge fixed bearing, in principle, it is not allowed to repair scraping and adjust the bearing gap, the gap should be replaced when appropriate.
4. For multi wedge tilting bearing, it is not allowed to repair and scrape tiles, and the gap should be replaced due to tiles when appropriate. For the tile with adjustable thickness, stainless steel pad can be added under the tile back adjustment block, or the method of thinning adjustment block thickness can be used to adjust the tile amount. Note that for multi-wedge tilting bearing, the thickness error between the same group of tiles should be less than 0.01mm.
